Real simulation of vehicle acoustics

Our acoustic simulation in the automotive sector is now taking another important step towards real conditions.  After vehicle models were created using finite element models for the low audible frequencies and ray tracing models for the high frequency range in recent years, detailed models of the doors have now been integrated.  The mechanical properties of the carrier plates in the doors, which serve as bearings for the loudspeakers, i.e. have the rigidity, have a correspondingly decisive influence on the sound radiation (as can be seen in the picture).  The detailed models are further integrated into the vehicle models.
